The US and western state-medical systems are characterized by fraud for a reason that ought to be clear, but is not to most people. The reason is lack of personal freedom. State-run, funded, mandated, prohibited, regimented organizations, wherever they happen to exist, are organized around coercion. Curriculum in pre-med and med schools is prescribed doctrine that came to be favored by state power , which has little resemblance to truth nor respect for reason.
In a coercive system, cynicism and nihilism flourish; practitioners are agents of state doctrine, no matter how malign and destructive. Good practitioners leave, because if they choose to think and dissent they're punished. Bad ones are attracted to privilege and loot. Many just seek wealth, prestige and security and choose not to think about ethical issues that interfer with advancement.
The forgoing is the product of false Progressive ideals that enshrine fascism/socialism as morally superior to a regime of individual freedom and capitalism. To think, to develop and exercise intelligence, to discover truth and expose error--all these require individual freedom to choose. No one can be free to choose without taking responsibility, without paying one's own way. There is no Third Way.
There is certainly a lot of truth in what you say. Unfortunately, I use the terms "the left" and "the right" completely differently. In fact, we are being controlled and deceived by the capitalists. The "progressive, left-wing ideals" were invented and paid for by the capitalist class (BlackStone etc.) as a distraction. There are no real socialists (the lefists) who would work for the interests of the capitalists/globalists. Many of the "progressive ideals" were financed by the Soros organizations. They are not real socialists, nor are they real democrats, but merely careerists. Especially in the USA, these terms (the leftists and the rightists) have been successfully interchanged. Everything is just a distraction and Orwellian reversal.
The personal story and experiences of Dr. Harold Hillman are remarkably insightful and instructive but should come as no surprise to those of us familiar with the history of medical science; as tragic and heartbreaking for his career and science in general, there are many examples of historical precedent to be found long before Dr Hillman's experience of vilification and rejection; in fact his shabbily unethical treatment has an amazing parallel with Antoine Bechamp whose presentations to the French Academies (backed by evidence of repeated and verifiable experimentation) were rejected in favor of the unproven and faulty science of Pasteur; similarly the work and inventions of Royal Rife (also proven to be effective with countless experiments and independent analysis) were deliberately suppressed and destroyed along with their true scientific genius; Rife's Universal Microscope (even in the 20s and 30s) far surpassed even today's electron microscopes!

The genius of both Bechamp and Rife could have saved countless lives and pointed medical science in the right direction; they were and are the best examples of the true scientific method at work and were deliberately cheated out of the genuine legacy they richly deserved ; history shows that they were not merely victims of a forgotten or misunderstood part of medicine but deliberately sacrificed by the evil forces of power and corruption of their time, the same forces operating today to keep the past hidden and perpetuating the lies of the false paradigm of fake and unproven science.
