One minor point that I have wondered about relates to use of antibiotics in pneumonia. I have no background, except lots of reading since 2020. My understanding is bacteria move onto damaged tissue to remediate decomposition that would otherwise be dangerous to life. Yet people with pneumonoia died due to withholding of antibiotics. Are such deaths an effect from massive release of toxic wastes emitted by huge populations of anorexic bacteria?
