We're all familiar with the problem of "deaf ears." It's probably one of the most annoying things in life. Deciding where to invest our energy most effectively is difficult.
The ethos supporting the tyrannical plotting and mischief ESC describes at length is, as Ayn Rand explained, altruism. This is the idea that individuals have no right to live peacefully for themselves and their lives belong to others. Virtue is self sacrifice for some allegedly greater moral value than one’s own life.
Altruism sounds good until one realizes it destroys individual rights and freedom. It is used to rationalize all violations of freedom, which includes the regulatory state we’ve been trained to regard as necessary to civilization. The arguments for regulations from economics are easily refuted and proven false, which many disregard from ignorance and their fallback belief in altrusim.
Regulations centralize economic decisions, taking moral agency from individuals and awarding it to other individuals connected with bureaucracies. As the regulations accumulate, individual actors become more helpless and bureaucrats more powerful. People who seek power are not good; they’re determined to take by force whatever they desire from others.
Such people congregate in power meetings such as those ESC identified. Again, people like these believe the key to ‘happiness’ is controlling other people and so truth is not their concern, but rather proper alignment with the whims of the powerful. This is why plots to take more power sail through without opposition.
The term "regulation" can be defined in many ways. The "regulation" that Escape Key writes about is actually a disempowerment, subjugation, and enslavement of citizens. In this context, I agree with you. Certainly, there are many other definitions of "regulation" in which context I would also agree with you. However, there are certain laws that constitute regulation in themselves, which I consider necessary. Besides me, many people also think that the deregulation of banks in the 1970s was the beginning of a great disaster. Your comments are always very interesting. Thank you for writing them.
Regulations in my usage are government restrictions on what would otherwise be voluntary choices in the market. Repealing bank regulations in the seventies probably were destructive (although necessary to holding together a system that was flying apart). The problem with the banks was then and now that they’re not free market companies, but components to a federally regulated banking cartel granted all sorts of special legal privileges, and administrative units of central bank monetary policy. In the next financial crisis, whatever its form and timing, there is serious risk that depositors’ money will be confiscated as ‘bail-in’. So Bnaking is almost completely a non-market non-voluntary arrangement and regulations of banks are adminstrative rules of the central bank cartel.
In the UK it has rained continually for a couple of months. Much of our farming land is under water. This is being attributed to climate change. I have witnessed an aircraft cloud seeding over my home, so I know the weather is being manipulated to make it impossible for farmers to plant. Our harvests will fail.
The coming food shortages will be used to justify and implement Digital ID - to allow for fair rationing of food supplies.
I believe it will be difficult to refuse Digital ID if the alternative is no access to food shops.
Thank you very much. People are debating whether, and for what purpose, geoengineering is currently being used. Well, you present the simplest and perfectly understandable answer. While this isn't conclusive proof that the deliberate destruction of future harvests is taking place, it's strong evidence that fits very well with all the other events. Do you recall that a few years ago there were a striking number of fires in crop storage facilities in the USA? That also fits. People need to be warned about the possible strategy of food rationing for forcing Digital ID onto the UK.
I have twice witnessed cloud seeding operations carried out by small plane over my home in XXX. They transform a bright sunny morning into an overcast cold day. The planes spray particulate matter in a grid pattern. These trails do not dissipate but spread and form a blanket of cold grey cloud which lasts or the remainder of the day.
i have also noticed that since the unusually wet and overcast days rrecently my windows are stained with a deposit, which I assume comes from the materials sprayed into the atmosphere.
I am sure that these weather modification practices are the reason for the unusually wet winter. Our farmers have been unable to plant winter and spring plantings and there will be an impact on food supply. Our farmers will lose their land as they will be bankrupted.
I have heard that the planes are taking off from small airports such as Southampton to spray over the south coast. This is a criminal operation and you as an MP must be aware that our government is complicit in this.

The chemtrails transform a bright sunny morning into an overcast cold day. The planes sprayed particulate matter in a grid pattern in a relatively small patch almost directly above my home in the centre of the visible sky on a bright warm and sunny morning . These trails did not dissipate but coalesced to form a blanket of strange cold grey cloud which then spread further outward to the horizons east and west. This grey artificial "cloud" covered the entire visible sky and lasted for the remainder of the day. The temperature dropped considerably as the sun's heat was being reflected back by the particulates.
I would not have believed this was possible and being done if I had not witnessed it and the effect it had. I am sure that these weather modification practices are the reason for the unusually cold and wet weather for the past couple of years.

I have a contact in Cornwall, who has told me that these cloudseeding planes are flying in circular paths off the Cornwall coast, and the chemtrails then drift to blanket the entire UK via the dominant south westerly wind patterns. These planes usually turn their transponders off, but the ones that cannot, can be tracked and followed via internet apps, and their unusual behaviour spotted. They fly at night to do their spraying secretly, not in the daytime.
Please do what you can to investigate this and prevent it from continuing. Please can you find out whether these operations are legal and being done with the permission of the UK government. The environmental and human health effects could be disastrous.
It is widely known among many people in XXX that weather modification is occurring, so there is no likelihood that this can be kept secret. It is also widely publicised via the internet and in the press that this is being done in the US, and people there are angry about it.
It seems to me that the assumption that people would assume this is due to "climate change" underestimates people's common sense. People know that they are being lied to and this is a risky strategy for our government to involve itself in.

My sense is that the motive is nothing to do with "climate change" but is to bankrupt our farmers using "climate change" as an excuse. The powerful international conglomerates behind this will seize our land, and then control the food supply. This is criminal activity. There are already food shortages being predicted. The winter and spring plantings have been affected as the soil is too wet and cold for crops to succeed.
There are other more probable theories as to why "climate change" is being so heavily promoted and propagandised now, and the most likely one is hegemonic control by US and western powers over the global energy economy via carbon trading systems using "global warming" as a justification. This is a geopolitical aim to substitute for the loss of petrodollar control. Gullible responses to the ostensible reasons created to conceal the geopolitical goals of powerful global financial interests will be naïve and disastrous in an MP when faced with the realities of power politics. Heavily publicised reasons are given out to the propagandised public, so that the true motive can be concealed.

I have previously written to XXXMP about this, but got back a very unsatisfactory response and no answer as to the chemicals being used or their safety.
I enclose some links to show that this technology is real and used in many parts of the world.
Some years ago in the pages of the Guardian, we sounded the alarm about the increasing attention being paid to solar geoengineering – a barking mad scheme to cancel global heating by putting pollutants in the atmosphere that dim the sun by reflecting some sunlight back to space.
In one widely touted proposition, fleets of aircraft would continually inject sulphur compounds into the upper atmosphere, simulating the effects of a massive array of volcanoes erupting continuously. In essence, we have broken the climate by releasing gigatonnes of fossil-fuel carbon dioxide, and solar geoengineering proposes to “fix” it by breaking a very different part of the climate system.
The fix is more like taking aspirin for cancer, treating symptoms but leaving the underlying malignancy to keep growing. It poses arguably unsurmountable governance issues in our turbulent modern political environment. And if we become reliant on solar geoengineering, the world will be left subject to a catastrophic termination shock if the intervention is ever halted – any time during the next millennium or even longer.
The Aria geoengineering programme is a dangerous distraction from the work that needs to be done to achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions
Since our 2021 commentary, the situation has grown far worse, with tens of millions of dollars pouring into the scheme, mostly from private philanthropy. Bill Gates was an early backer, and the tech and fintech industries have piled on since. But we never imagined that the UK government itself would be leading the charge into what is almost universally recognized as the most dangerous and destabilizing sort of research: field trials that risk developing dangerous technology and paving the way for deployment. That is precisely the emphasis as the UK’s Advanced Research and Invention Agency (Aria) prepares to hand over $58m for solar geoengineering research and development. Outdoor experimentation is such a controversial undertaking that even the Simons Foundation, which funds research in solar geoengineering, has shied away from making grants in this area.
Aria, with an initial budget of £800m, arose from the fevered dreams of Dominic Cummings at the height of the Boris Johnson crony capitalism years. After a rocky start for the office, Cummings’s legacy lives on in the current Labour government, which seems to have lost track of what Aria is doing. Aria, a wannabe clone of the US Defense Advanced Projects Agency (Darpa), works in darkness. It is not subject to freedom of information requests. It gives a pot of money to each of its (often inexperienced) directors, to direct expenditure largely as they wish, with only minimal peer review. The director in charge of the solar geoengineeering project is Mark Symes, an electrochemist with no background in climate science.
It is ironic that Aria is funding a project that is not only a waste of money but is actively harmful, at a time when the chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is busily hunting for places to cut government expenditures. Surely this project should count as low-hanging fruit for Reeves’s sharp scissors.
The Aria programme thesis document on “cooling the Earth” makes for chilling reading. The project goes all-in on the supposed need for field trials, without making a case that such trials could answer any of the really important questions about what would happen with a sustained global-scale deployment. That the trials are described as “small scale” is little comfort, because even small-scale trials risk developing the technology somebody else (think Musk, Trump or Putin) might use for a large-scale deployment. (The Adam McKay film Don’t Look Up adroitly satirises the existential threat of a geoengineering-happy Musk-like plutocrat).
There is extreme danger in launching such field trials into an environment with neither national nor international governance in place. The only governance would be that imposed by Aria directors, who are accountable to basically nobody. Worse, Aria can fund projects outside the UK, which invites shopping for sites with poor environmental regulations and limited opportunities for public protest. Provision of government funding for crossing the Rubicon to outdoor experimentation will inevitably legitimise such programmes, opening the floodgates for yet more money to pour into developing geoengineering technology worldwide. And once the engineers involved realise, as they inevitably will, that “small scale” experiments do not answer any of the truly critical questions, there will be demand for ever-larger trials, putting us on a slippery slope to full-scale deployment.
The Aria geoengineering programme is a dangerous distraction from the work that needs to be done to achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions. The net-zero goal is one that is enshrined in UK law, and one that the Labour government purports to uphold. The UK government should not encourage false solutions like solar geoengineering and the people of the UK should not stand for it.
Aria is already evaluating proposals for its dangerous project. It is not too late to halt this juggernaut, but to do so will require vigorous pushback that starts right now.

While climate change has been dominating the international agenda in recent years, efforts to influence the weather and reflect solar heat have received less scrutiny despite their potential to increase regional tensions.
Countries are increasingly using technology to change conditions in the atmosphere, oceans and ice to improve weather to their advantage or lessen global warming. However, the results of these interventions can cross borders and what may be good for one country may not be good for its neighbours.
This is not a hypothetical problem. Iran has already accused Israel of stealing its water by using cloud-seeding that reduces rainfall over its territory. China, which already artificially alters its weather over major cities, plans to be able to modify weather over half its territory by 2025, to the alarm of neighbours including India. And two Middle East rivals – the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia – are scaling up rain-making operations.
The Met Office has not been free to tell the truth since 1997. As a former senior government ‘suit’ involved in the restructuring of research in the UK I explain why…
Well, back then behind closed doors we knew that anthropogenic warming was nonsense, but the government wished to use it as a lever to push forward some radical policies. Overtly signalled as energy security policies they were, in fact, a raft of draconian economic reforms designed to maintain the status quo for the privileged few under deteriorating market conditions.
Over drinks I learned from mouthy policy ‘suits’ that green energy policies were to be pursued to provide investment opportunities in the mid-term. The long-term aim was 100% nuclear, with (planned) failure of green and renewable energy being the club to soften the public into acceptance of an unacceptable energy source. Thatcher’s priority was energy security and for her this meant energy sovereignty and that meant nuclear. Major simply took up the baton.
Food shortages have been "predicted" in the Clever Together Rockerfeller document. Allegations exist that the Rockerfeller foundation is a branch of the US/CIA deep state.
According to the document problems arose though due to all these "weather system" changes. A food production crisis would happen by 2028.
It was also Gates who warned us there would be a food crisis, notwithstanding the fact he is the largest landowner in US.

On July 8 2020, a little known document was published by The Rockefeller Foundation called “Reset the Table: Meeting the Moment to Transform the U.S. Food System”.
Mississippi lawmakers have introduced legislation that would explicitly ban geoengineering statewide, define atmospheric chemical dispersal as a form of pollution under state law, and impose felony criminal penalties—including prison time and fines of at least $500,000—on any individual or entity conducting geoengineering within Mississippi.
Most US states are trying to ban geoengineering - it is a big problem in the US.
The cloud seeding is worldwide. The UK and US are doing it.
The purpose of these fictional narratives, such as pandemics and climate change is to justify the use of unconventional weapons against the unarmed and defenceless public.

Exactly! The same can be said about George Orwell's book "1984". It was meant as a warning, not an instruction manual.
This comment to the larger threads of our shared willingness - not as a personal retort or expectation... but your comment sparked a morning reflection in the themes that underlie our human conditioning.
I wonder if the critique or warning in fact operates as presented, for ithe attention to the evil operates as a form of tribute or self-reinforcement.
Orwell's 1984 'black-pilled' a modern self-reflection, and as such stands as a form of negative worship. It delivers unto despair. I'm not picking on this piecemeal, so much as to say that the 'justifications' or cover stories are invoked for what we choose to do, (or choose to not do) and serve a way of persisting in so choosing.
The 'alienating force' may be represented by the framing of 'economics' masking as science but the decision to withhold love or withdraw from love, is a choice to give focus, identity and attention to something 'else'. The invoking of 'something else' is the ingenuity of an evasive and manipulative mind.
Self (or Life)-alienating thought runs the claim of guide and protector. The isolation of an individual from a collective can never be true, not can an individual operate create agency apart form or outside of the milieu or terrain that feeds and support their unique expression. But thinking makes it so...
Removing the blocks to love's awareness does call for bringing them to awareness as a choice no longer valued, wanted or meaningful to a right-minded discernment in life.
But the 'ego' of a self-separate or self-special will - if allowed - usurp such a recognition and willingness by interjecting 'processes' as internalised rules and dictates. The direct recognition is then pushed to a future that such terms and conditions will never allow to be now - or only allow a limited from of love to use as a token sacrifice by which the power of guilt is stamped on the face of love's presence.
The 'Separation' or 'Fall' that I see is such a development of cultural or acculturating conditioning of which our own current expressions are only 'causative' by being invoked to reiterate as if new.
I have looked to understand the world I learned to accept real, and within the seeking , uncovered that the seeker was misguided. That is a real discovery, and opened a way of seeking that uncovers what is, rather than struggle in or with what we 'made' of love.
Of myself I can do nothing, because I am not 'of myself' - yet that is the premise of the 'ego' script that fears truth as damning or as demanding total sacrifice of self.
That an identity recoils to project fear and hate Out and Away from a sense of temporary 'control' is not usually at all part of the mind thus shaped'.
When I learned about shaped explosions it reflected something of the nature of thought as a device for 'shaping the damage'. We might see this as justification, cover story, diversionary tactic, survival strategy, or some form of ritual sacrifice that become the 'right thing to do' when deeper fears or conflicts are triggered. Socially masked scapegoating can be framed in 'scientific models' that take any moral participation in thought away from the 'new laity' by framing an externally defined reality amorally, and thus setting 'scientifically' trained and regulated expertise as the arbiter of a usurping moral guilting manipulation. Coercive deceit is always discernible directly to a wholeness of being - and thus is primarily functioning to deny, limit and divide wholeness of being as the basis for its 'survival' within the minds of it host.
The term 'phishing' operates the baited trap for a passive identification with image and form - also known as sleepwalking through life or running on subconscious routines without stopping to truly check in at the heart of all that truly matters.
I am not interested in the framework of blame and sacrifice - so much as of correction that truly heals. Fear & guilt 'dictate' a tyrannous grip on the mind that has learned to adapt to darkness as the only light there is.
I see 1948 - renamed 1984 by the publishers insistence - as a modern Crucifiction story, in which Resurrection was replaced by an aborted Insurrection to thus repeat forever as the stamp of hate on the face of love. Yet I recall there was a light hidden in the lovers discovery as the nature of a truly shared being. In the novel device, the light was quickly framed treacherous and betrayal was revealed as an attack on love - but the 'rats' made me do it. (Room 101 as your greatest fear).
There are many ways to read a novel - or indeed any situation, but if we read without love we will interpret (everything) fearfully. Oh but if we think we are loving (ie we are the good guys) then we will not pause our thinking, to check in at the heart. Of course our thought may be more or less aligned with life and the living in specific or various respects, such that running on assumptions and learned associations may 'work' well enough to pass off as real. But the element of masked fear will run protected or uncorrected thereby, and such conflicts will compound in the personal and social frameworks of experience that run as an almost unquestionable 'reality'.
Seeking to call awareness present, will then be unseen and unintelligible - or 'making no sense'. Yet the underlying breakdown of Communication is not a failure to convey information as 'getting through' the perceived obstructions, so much as a 'way of perceiving lovelessly'.
I'm reminded of Peter denying he knew Jesus in the chaos after the Crucifixion -exactly as Jesus had revealed to him that he would and despite Peter's refusal to accept it - this recognition dawned on him as the cocks were crowing just before the dawn —as a gift of perfect unconditional acceptance or love.
I can only sketch out a witness from where I find or accept myself to be as a willingness to understand —not as a leverage of predictive definition and control, but as an acceptance and gratitude for being. Horror and terror are part of a world framed in death, but is that framing the ONLY way to see the realm of transient experience?

That I observe this as the 'mind' I thought to take as my own - is a basis for pausing it and seeking willingness for love's awareness as a basis for true willing - not in a process of terms and conditions to meet, but as the movement with being that is recognisably unconflicted and whole - as living - not as an accomplishment of 'becoming valid'. Unselfconscious joy in being can be lost to a self-conscious assertiveness as a masking recoil from errors associated with pain of conflicted self.
The cage or prison 'we have made' of life, is of a self-protective recoil from living. But its primary function is not built in, so much as what we wanted or invoked to mask, offset and mitigate or manage pain of life. Is it not 'risk' that underlies the so called economic restructuring of life to lab-cultured 'human' specimens?
Bringing our investments to a true awareness is a willingness to re-evaluate where to give energy and attention—and thus value as meaningful instead of running subconscious or internalised structures of self reinforcing belief that is not recognised as such while we seek to gain by its function.
When I first encountered the WEF site with its interactive system of organisational pir charts, it operated as a terrible revelation for a few clicks, until I saw that the representation of modelling definitions and controls is a dead conceptual structure - regardless the sacrificial tribute to its god. So I then looked not with a fixation on horror on a trap that couldn't be escaped. And chose to alight in the living, whilst aware that such fronting operates for a masking world order of joylessness.
Esc does uncover the systemic capture of lies given power, but I don't see enough questioning of their credentials. Yes I see them revealed as circular reasoning by which they usurp and evade a lawful or honest account. But I also see the persistent attempt the thread cultural his-stories that confirm and support a way of interpreting life and world in structure.
I have gratitude for Esc's output, and have recommended it on many occasions as part of shifting from a fake 'political' manipulation to a recognition of systems-theory as active technologism - that has its root in our psyche - not in bad actors who exemplify or front for dark agenda.
I pray that willingness for truth grows past the wish to polarise identity in lies given power by coercion and deceit. Prayer as communion or with-ness - not as a plea.
All are called, but few - as yet - choose to listen. However, that does not mean seeds are not sown, and false choices are not revealing themselves as costing pain and loss of life, love and meaning.
I thought he said 'humans are hackable animals' but of course saying something can run suggestion in the mind of the target - which in a sense is 'hacking' the mind.

Regulations in my usage are government restrictions on what would otherwise be voluntary choices in the market. Repealing bank regulations in the seventies probably were destructive (although necessary to holding together a system that was flying apart). The problem with the banks was then and now that they’re not free market companies, but components to a federally regulated banking cartel granted all sorts of special legal privileges, and administrative units of central bank monetary policy. In the next financial crisis, whatever its form and timing, there is serious risk that depositors’ money will be confiscated as ‘bail-in’. So Bnaking is almost completely a non-market non-voluntary arrangement and regulations of banks are adminstrative rules of the central bank cartel.
Suavek, I have some concerns to share with you.
In the UK it has rained continually for a couple of months. Much of our farming land is under water. This is being attributed to climate change. I have witnessed an aircraft cloud seeding over my home, so I know the weather is being manipulated to make it impossible for farmers to plant. Our harvests will fail.
The coming food shortages will be used to justify and implement Digital ID - to allow for fair rationing of food supplies.
I believe it will be difficult to refuse Digital ID if the alternative is no access to food shops.

Thank you very much. People are debating whether, and for what purpose, geoengineering is currently being used. Well, you present the simplest and perfectly understandable answer. While this isn't conclusive proof that the deliberate destruction of future harvests is taking place, it's strong evidence that fits very well with all the other events. Do you recall that a few years ago there were a striking number of fires in crop storage facilities in the USA? That also fits. Furthermore, fertilizer prices have increased several times over in recent times. I will publish your helpful comment in an article soon. Thank you.

I have twice witnessed cloud seeding operations carried out by small plane over my home in XXX. They transform a bright sunny morning into an overcast cold day. The planes spray particulate matter in a grid pattern. These trails do not dissipate but spread and form a blanket of cold grey cloud which lasts or the remainder of the day.
i have also noticed that since the unusually wet and overcast days rrecently my windows are stained with a deposit, which I assume comes from the materials sprayed into the atmosphere.
I am sure that these weather modification practices are the reason for the unusually wet winter. Our farmers have been unable to plant winter and spring plantings and there will be an impact on food supply. Our farmers will lose their land as they will be bankrupted.
I have heard that the planes are taking off from small airports such as Southampton to spray over the south coast. This is a criminal operation and you as an MP must be aware that our government is complicit in this.
Please let me know what these planes are spraying and what your stance is on this serious matter.

The chemtrails transform a bright sunny morning into an overcast cold day. The planes sprayed particulate matter in a grid pattern in a relatively small patch almost directly above my home in the centre of the visible sky on a bright warm and sunny morning . These trails did not dissipate but coalesced to form a blanket of strange cold grey cloud which then spread further outward to the horizons east and west. This grey artificial "cloud" covered the entire visible sky and lasted for the remainder of the day. The temperature dropped considerably as the sun's heat was being reflected back by the particulates.
I would not have believed this was possible and being done if I had not witnessed it and the effect it had. I am sure that these weather modification practices are the reason for the unusually cold and wet weather for the past couple of years.
I have heard that the planes have been taking off from small airports such as Southampton to spray over the south coast.
I have a contact in Cornwall, who has told me that these cloudseeding planes are flying in circular paths off the Cornwall coast, and the chemtrails then drift to blanket the entire UK via the dominant south westerly wind patterns. These planes usually turn their transponders off, but the ones that cannot, can be tracked and followed via internet apps, and their unusual behaviour spotted. They fly at night to do their spraying secretly, not in the daytime.
Please do what you can to investigate this and prevent it from continuing. Please can you find out whether these operations are legal and being done with the permission of the UK government. The environmental and human health effects could be disastrous.
It is widely known among many people in XXX that weather modification is occurring, so there is no likelihood that this can be kept secret. It is also widely publicised via the internet and in the press that this is being done in the US, and people there are angry about it.
It seems to me that the assumption that people would assume this is due to "climate change" underestimates people's common sense. People know that they are being lied to and this is a risky strategy for our government to involve itself in.
I am asking you as my MP to find out what chemicals are being used, as these will be in the air we (and other animals) breath, the water we drink, and the soil that grows our crops. If aluminium salts are used these will be toxic to all life.
There appear to have been few safety studies made before carrying out this lunatic scheme. From the impact on the weather the planes must be unloading tons of this stuff into the atmosphere. I am deeply concerned by the admission from the Met Office that weather modification is being carried out in the UK using "solar radiation management". ....
My sense is that the motive is nothing to do with "climate change" but is to bankrupt our farmers using "climate change" as an excuse. The powerful international conglomerates behind this will seize our land, and then control the food supply. This is criminal activity. There are already food shortages being predicted. The winter and spring plantings have been affected as the soil is too wet and cold for crops to succeed.
There are other more probable theories as to why "climate change" is being so heavily promoted and propagandised now, and the most likely one is hegemonic control by US and western powers over the global energy economy via carbon trading systems using "global warming" as a justification. This is a geopolitical aim to substitute for the loss of petrodollar control. Gullible responses to the ostensible reasons created to conceal the geopolitical goals of powerful global financial interests will be naïve and disastrous in an MP when faced with the realities of power politics. Heavily publicised reasons are given out to the propagandised public, so that the true motive can be concealed.

Some years ago in the pages of the Guardian, we sounded the alarm about the increasing attention being paid to solar geoengineering – a barking mad scheme to cancel global heating by putting pollutants in the atmosphere that dim the sun by reflecting some sunlight back to space.
In one widely touted proposition, fleets of aircraft would continually inject sulphur compounds into the upper atmosphere, simulating the effects of a massive array of volcanoes erupting continuously. In essence, we have broken the climate by releasing gigatonnes of fossil-fuel carbon dioxide, and solar geoengineering proposes to “fix” it by breaking a very different part of the climate system.
The fix is more like taking aspirin for cancer, treating symptoms but leaving the underlying malignancy to keep growing. It poses arguably unsurmountable governance issues in our turbulent modern political environment. And if we become reliant on solar geoengineering, the world will be left subject to a catastrophic termination shock if the intervention is ever halted – any time during the next millennium or even longer.

Since our 2021 commentary, the situation has grown far worse, with tens of millions of dollars pouring into the scheme, mostly from private philanthropy. Bill Gates was an early backer, and the tech and fintech industries have piled on since. But we never imagined that the UK government itself would be leading the charge into what is almost universally recognized as the most dangerous and destabilizing sort of research: field trials that risk developing dangerous technology and paving the way for deployment. That is precisely the emphasis as the UK’s Advanced Research and Invention Agency (Aria) prepares to hand over $58m for solar geoengineering research and development. Outdoor experimentation is such a controversial undertaking that even the Simons Foundation, which funds research in solar geoengineering, has shied away from making grants in this area.
Aria, with an initial budget of £800m, arose from the fevered dreams of Dominic Cummings at the height of the Boris Johnson crony capitalism years. After a rocky start for the office, Cummings’s legacy lives on in the current Labour government, which seems to have lost track of what Aria is doing. Aria, a wannabe clone of the US Defense Advanced Projects Agency (Darpa), works in darkness. It is not subject to freedom of information requests. It gives a pot of money to each of its (often inexperienced) directors, to direct expenditure largely as they wish, with only minimal peer review. The director in charge of the solar geoengineeering project is Mark Symes, an electrochemist with no background in climate science.
It is ironic that Aria is funding a project that is not only a waste of money but is actively harmful, at a time when the chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is busily hunting for places to cut government expenditures. Surely this project should count as low-hanging fruit for Reeves’s sharp scissors.
The Aria programme thesis document on “cooling the Earth” makes for chilling reading. The project goes all-in on the supposed need for field trials, without making a case that such trials could answer any of the really important questions about what would happen with a sustained global-scale deployment. That the trials are described as “small scale” is little comfort, because even small-scale trials risk developing the technology somebody else (think Musk, Trump or Putin) might use for a large-scale deployment. (The Adam McKay film Don’t Look Up adroitly satirises the existential threat of a geoengineering-happy Musk-like plutocrat).
There is extreme danger in launching such field trials into an environment with neither national nor international governance in place. The only governance would be that imposed by Aria directors, who are accountable to basically nobody. Worse, Aria can fund projects outside the UK, which invites shopping for sites with poor environmental regulations and limited opportunities for public protest. Provision of government funding for crossing the Rubicon to outdoor experimentation will inevitably legitimise such programmes, opening the floodgates for yet more money to pour into developing geoengineering technology worldwide. And once the engineers involved realise, as they inevitably will, that “small scale” experiments do not answer any of the truly critical questions, there will be demand for ever-larger trials, putting us on a slippery slope to full-scale deployment.
The Aria geoengineering programme is a dangerous distraction from the work that needs to be done to achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions. The net-zero goal is one that is enshrined in UK law, and one that the Labour government purports to uphold. The UK government should not encourage false solutions like solar geoengineering and the people of the UK should not stand for it.
Aria is already evaluating proposals for its dangerous project. It is not too late to halt this juggernaut, but to do so will require vigorous pushback that starts right now.

While climate change has been dominating the international agenda in recent years, efforts to influence the weather and reflect solar heat have received less scrutiny despite their potential to increase regional tensions.
Countries are increasingly using technology to change conditions in the atmosphere, oceans and ice to improve weather to their advantage or lessen global warming. However, the results of these interventions can cross borders and what may be good for one country may not be good for its neighbours.
This is not a hypothetical problem. Iran has already accused Israel of stealing its water by using cloud-seeding that reduces rainfall over its territory. China, which already artificially alters its weather over major cities, plans to be able to modify weather over half its territory by 2025, to the alarm of neighbours including India. And two Middle East rivals – the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia – are scaling up rain-making operations.

Well, back then behind closed doors we knew that anthropogenic warming was nonsense, but the government wished to use it as a lever to push forward some radical policies. Overtly signalled as energy security policies they were, in fact, a raft of draconian economic reforms designed to maintain the status quo for the privileged few under deteriorating market conditions.
Over drinks I learned from mouthy policy ‘suits’ that green energy policies were to be pursued to provide investment opportunities in the mid-term. The long-term aim was 100% nuclear, with (planned) failure of green and renewable energy being the club to soften the public into acceptance of an unacceptable energy source. Thatcher’s priority was energy security and for her this meant energy sovereignty and that meant nuclear. Major simply took up the baton.

I wonder if the critique or warning in fact operates as presented, for ithe attention to the evil operates as a form of tribute or self-reinforcement.
Orwell's 1984 'black-pilled' a modern self-reflection, and as such stands as a form of negative worship. It delivers unto despair. I'm not picking on this piecemeal, so much as to say that the 'justifications' or cover stories are invoked for what we choose to do, (or choose to not do) and serve a way of persisting in so choosing.
The 'alienating force' may be represented by the framing of 'economics' masking as science but the decision to withhold love or withdraw from love, is a choice to give focus, identity and attention to something 'else'. The invoking of 'something else' is the ingenuity of an evasive and manipulative mind.
Self (or Life)-alienating thought runs the claim of guide and protector. The isolation of an individual from a collective can never be true, not can an individual operate create agency apart form or outside of the milieu or terrain that feeds and support their unique expression. But thinking makes it so...
Removing the blocks to love's awareness does call for bringing them to awareness as a choice no longer valued, wanted or meaningful to a right-minded discernment in life.
But the 'ego' of a self-separate or self-special will - if allowed - usurp such a recognition and willingness by interjecting 'processes' as internalised rules and dictates. The direct recognition is then pushed to a future that such terms and conditions will never allow to be now - or only allow a limited from of love to use as a token sacrifice by which the power of guilt is stamped on the face of love's presence.
The 'Separation' or 'Fall' that I see is such a development of cultural or acculturating conditioning of which our own current expressions are only 'causative' by being invoked to reiterate as if new.
I have looked to understand the world I learned to accept real, and within the seeking , uncovered that the seeker was misguided. That is a real discovery, and opened a way of seeking that uncovers what is, rather than struggle in or with what we 'made' of love.
Of myself I can do nothing, because I am not 'of myself' - yet that is the premise of the 'ego' script that fears truth as damning or as demanding total sacrifice of self.
That an identity recoils to project fear and hate Out and Away from a sense of temporary 'control' is not usually at all part of the mind thus shaped'.
When I learned about shaped explosions it reflected something of the nature of thought as a device for 'shaping the damage'. We might see this as justification, cover story, diversionary tactic, survival strategy, or some form of ritual sacrifice that become the 'right thing to do' when deeper fears or conflicts are triggered. Socially masked scapegoating can be framed in 'scientific models' that take any moral participation in thought away from the 'new laity' by framing an externally defined reality amorally, and thus setting 'scientifically' trained and regulated expertise as the arbiter of a usurping moral guilting manipulation. Coercive deceit is always discernible directly to a wholeness of being - and thus is primarily functioning to deny, limit and divide wholeness of being as the basis for its 'survival' within the minds of it host.
The term 'phishing' operates the baited trap for a passive identification with image and form - also known as sleepwalking through life or running on subconscious routines without stopping to truly check in at the heart of all that truly matters.
I am not interested in the framework of blame and sacrifice - so much as of correction that truly heals. Fear & guilt 'dictate' a tyrannous grip on the mind that has learned to adapt to darkness as the only light there is.
I see 1948 - renamed 1984 by the publishers insistence - as a modern Crucifiction story, in which Resurrection was replaced by an aborted Insurrection to thus repeat forever as the stamp of hate on the face of love. Yet I recall there was a light hidden in the lovers discovery as the nature of a truly shared being. In the novel device, the light was quickly framed treacherous and betrayal was revealed as an attack on love - but the 'rats' made me do it. (Room 101 as your greatest fear).
There are many ways to read a novel - or indeed any situation, but if we read without love we will interpret (everything) fearfully. Oh but if we think we are loving (ie we are the good guys) then we will not pause our thinking, to check in at the heart. Of course our thought may be more or less aligned with life and the living in specific or various respects, such that running on assumptions and learned associations may 'work' well enough to pass off as real. But the element of masked fear will run protected or uncorrected thereby, and such conflicts will compound in the personal and social frameworks of experience that run as an almost unquestionable 'reality'.
Seeking to call awareness present, will then be unseen and unintelligible - or 'making no sense'. Yet the underlying breakdown of Communication is not a failure to convey information as 'getting through' the perceived obstructions, so much as a 'way of perceiving lovelessly'.
I'm reminded of Peter denying he knew Jesus in the chaos after the Crucifixion -exactly as Jesus had revealed to him that he would and despite Peter's refusal to accept it - this recognition dawned on him as the cocks were crowing just before the dawn —as a gift of perfect unconditional acceptance or love.
I can only sketch out a witness from where I find or accept myself to be as a willingness to understand —not as a leverage of predictive definition and control, but as an acceptance and gratitude for being. Horror and terror are part of a world framed in death, but is that framing the ONLY way to see the realm of transient experience?

That I observe this as the 'mind' I thought to take as my own - is a basis for pausing it and seeking willingness for love's awareness as a basis for true willing - not in a process of terms and conditions to meet, but as the movement with being that is recognisably unconflicted and whole - as living - not as an accomplishment of 'becoming valid'. Unselfconscious joy in being can be lost to a self-conscious assertiveness as a masking recoil from errors associated with pain of conflicted self.
The cage or prison 'we have made' of life, is of a self-protective recoil from living. But its primary function is not built in, so much as what we wanted or invoked to mask, offset and mitigate or manage pain of life. Is it not 'risk' that underlies the so called economic restructuring of life to lab-cultured 'human' specimens?
Bringing our investments to a true awareness is a willingness to re-evaluate where to give energy and attention—and thus value as meaningful instead of running subconscious or internalised structures of self reinforcing belief that is not recognised as such while we seek to gain by its function.
I just keep hoping the writing of esc reaches more and more people. Thank you for sharing his work.
When I first encountered the WEF site with its interactive system of organisational pir charts, it operated as a terrible revelation for a few clicks, until I saw that the representation of modelling definitions and controls is a dead conceptual structure - regardless the sacrificial tribute to its god. So I then looked not with a fixation on horror on a trap that couldn't be escaped. And chose to alight in the living, whilst aware that such fronting operates for a masking world order of joylessness.
Esc does uncover the systemic capture of lies given power, but I don't see enough questioning of their credentials. Yes I see them revealed as circular reasoning by which they usurp and evade a lawful or honest account. But I also see the persistent attempt the thread cultural his-stories that confirm and support a way of interpreting life and world in structure.
I have gratitude for Esc's output, and have recommended it on many occasions as part of shifting from a fake 'political' manipulation to a recognition of systems-theory as active technologism - that has its root in our psyche - not in bad actors who exemplify or front for dark agenda.
I pray that willingness for truth grows past the wish to polarise identity in lies given power by coercion and deceit. Prayer as communion or with-ness - not as a plea.
All are called, but few - as yet - choose to listen. However, that does not mean seeds are not sown, and false choices are not revealing themselves as costing pain and loss of life, love and meaning.
