The meaning of enlightenment efforts
For people, enlightenment is a question of righteousness. The purpose of enlightenment efforts is to purify human consciousness from individual and collective prejudices. It is primarily the powerful states with their obedient politicians and the key backers who use strong war rhetoric and continually stir up dangerous prejudices against competitors because wars are good business.
In view of the threat and self-destruction of people by the atomic bomb, not only the future of our culture, but above all the survival of humanity will depend significantly on whether there are enough free spirits who will teach us what is truth and what is a lie. In particular, the broad masses of the population must be freed from the prejudices that are the ideological background of human catastrophes. The “enlightened mind” is able to set healthy goals in life.
Prejudice towards Russia
Contemporaries who continually follow the news notice how prejudices against the Russian government and its president are not only consciously maintained, but are stoked at every opportunity. Since these hate preachers have learned nothing from history with their war rhetoric, another human catastrophe could be on the horizon.
In this way, the US-NATO states are “arming” themselves against a military attack by a supposedly belligerent Russia and its president. To this end, thousands upon thousands of NATO soldiers are being deployed to the border with Russia and military maneuvers are being carried out to intimidate and warn the alleged enemy of the US-NATO. The citizens of the West are being made aware that they should prepare for a major war, a possible third world war against their neighboring country, and take personal precautions. In order to further fuel citizens' emerging fears of war, an article about Germany states how citizens should protect themselves in the event of war:
“According to a concept from the Federal Ministry of the Interior, citizens should prepare for war with their own shelters and self-sufficiency. Protective devices against the feared Russian attacks could be built easily, inexpensively and in a short time.” (1)
And all of this despite the Russian President's assurances to the contrary that Russia is not interested in a war against the US-NATO: Particularly noteworthy are the interview with the courageous US television presenter and political commentator Tucker Carlson as well as the speeches at the economic forum in Saint Petersburg (STEEF). The incessant and ineffective sanctions against Russia by the US government and the European G-7 countries as well as the exclusion from international sporting events also contribute to the prejudices.
All terrorist attacks against the country, carried out by Ukraine on behalf of the USA and its vassals, are attributed to Russia and its president himself.
So that citizens are not disabused, the aim is to make it more difficult or completely ban the reception of Russian radio and television stations as “propaganda tools”. Journalists who speak objectively and kindly towards this country are threatened with defamation, a ban on their articles or even a professional ban.
Russia should once again be brought to its knees politically, economically and culturally – as was the case during the last world war – and ultimately “eliminated” and destroyed as a competitor. Russia is a thorn in the side of the capitalist system. Without war, the current system cannot exist. That is why the West is fighting against the East with all legal and illegal means. And those in power are so sick that negotiating with them is not possible.
The new US government is said to have vowed to finally implement a decades-old plan and prevent Germany's ties with resource-rich Russia at all costs. The blowing up of Nord Stream 2 is just one example among many.
Didn't the last world war from 1941 bring enough suffering to the people of the Soviet Union? The genocidal starvation of the city of St. Petersburg is just one example of the bestial actions of Hitler's Germany at the time and his obedient henchmen. Hitler rose to prominence because he promised the warmongers in the West in his book “Mein Kampf” that he would go to war against the Soviet Union. That's why he was helped to stand up. He should be able to win this war. Anyone who is politically informed knows that the Soviet Union was in dire straits at that time. All of Hitler's work was directed against the East, but the Soviet Union could not defend itself against him. She was prepared to march against Hitler, but the rulers of the West refused. Hitler was fine with them. The entire capitalist world agreed with Hitler.
( Editor's note: The article has been abbreviated at this point ).
How would Russia be today if it had been able to develop calmly and not have been constantly boycotted? Russia has felt threatened by the West since the last world war - and rightly so. Without these dangerous prejudices, peace could still come from Russia today; Russia doesn't need war. The countless sanctions, which particularly damaged the states that imposed them, have made it more than clear that Russia is not dependent on the West, but, on the contrary, that the West needs the inexhaustible resources of this huge empire. But war is good business.
Unfortunately, the tireless fomenting of prejudices means that incompetent, corrupt politicians and uninformed, obedient citizens can be harnessed to a possible war.
responsibility of intellectuals
Intellectuals have a much greater responsibility in clarifying prejudices than we would like to realize. It would be their duty to think for other people and to proclaim freedom in general with the freedom to think. To this day, the educated and the citizens have stood up for the poor and the workers. The educated, the well-read person, who had the table set and no need, began to feel uncomfortable. The worker is neglected; he has no opinion at all. It wasn't given to him. He is only taught to the extent that he can operate the machines. That is enough. But he doesn't have a worldview, an opinion about the problems in the world or about himself. He is not encouraged to do so.
Throughout history it is always the citizen. The revolution in Russia, for example, was prepared by the commoners and the students. They were filled with great idealism and went to the people. It could have brought a lot of good to humanity. But she has been destroyed.
Role of the state media
As early as 1889, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and fighter Bertha von Suttner described the press as a “tool of the War Ministry” and warned in her stirring appeal “Put down your weapons!” against the means of mass communication that were “in the service of incitement and hate propaganda” (2). Through their reporting and language, through manipulation and propaganda, the mass media make a decisive contribution to the creation of enemy images, prejudices, the dumbing down of the masses and warmongering. This irresponsible behavior of the “servants of their masters” endangers democracy. Skeptics who see through the game and defend themselves against it are personally discredited with the manslaughter “conspiracy theorist” argument in order to silence them.
Karl Kraus in an article entitled “Die Journaille” (1874-1936), a harsh critic of the prevailing press and inflammatory journalism of his time, wrote about the “ devastation of the state by the press mafia” (3). Mass media could make an important contribution to educating and encouraging people. According to national and international agreements, they are obliged to provide citizens with truthful information. But the opposite is the case; they assume no responsibility for the common good of humanity.
Only if people have enough knowledge and education and are not constantly misinformed, lied to and distracted can they draw consequences for their personal and social actions. An educated and independent-minded citizen will be happy to contribute to the development of a better, more humane social order.
But what to do?
Taking people's fate into their own hands
Why don't we humans come to our senses and take both our own fate and that of humanity as a whole into our own hands instead of leaving it to some politicians and their dubious clients or an unknown higher being and thereby sliding into an unprecedented human catastrophe?
The country and the world need wide-awake, self-thinking and courageous citizens who can break down personal and collective prejudices and thereby see what is really going on in the real world. Then they would also be able to act rationally. You have to understand what function the prejudices initiated by diabolical powers and the “fear pandemic” they trigger really have. This is the only way to ensure the survival of the species.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who no longer believes in a diplomatic agreement between the West and Russia and is therefore preparing his country for a major war in Europe, said in a highly publicized interview with editor-in-chief Roger Köppel of the Swiss weekly magazine “Die Weltwoche”:
“I'm pretty sure we're going to have a catastrophe.” (4)

“The Gallows Tree”, from the 18-part etching cycle “The Great Horrors of War” ( Les Grandes Misères de la guerre ), after Jacques Callot (1632). The illustration shows the execution of “ infamous and lost” thieves ( Voleurs infames et perdus ) as well as presumably also marauders who roll for their lives (in the illustration on the right of the tree). The measure is not an arbitrary act, but rather takes place in front of the assembled troops (left and right edges of the picture), in the presence of clergy. The act corresponds to the martial law of the time to maintain military discipline.
