Pharma is in even more commercial trouble than I thought. But I’m not surprised. It was always going to go this way.

It’s a failed industry. I sensed it as early as 1989, when an older & wiser friend waved at all the buildings on the Wellcome Research site in U.K., where we both worked, and asked “What is keeping all this up, do you think?”
We had many long conversations about the state of the industry. We realised that nobody had any idea where new drug concepts came from and that attempts to “Scale the Discovery Engine” through sequential mergers was only having the effect of combining in-line product portfolios and late stage R&D pipelines, only a few of which would ever reach the market and most of those wouldn’t recover their R&D costs.
All sorts of bad behaviour was incentivised by limitations of commercial exclusivity which patents provide those who disclose an invention (which must be novel, useful & not obvious). The longer the development process became & the greater the costs, needed to exclude rare serious adverse effects and to prove superiority over existing, usually cheap, off-patent products, the shorter the useful exclusive period became, until it was too short to allow even the rare, good product that was a worthwhile advance over prior art to yield a sustaining profit.
I was clear by around the age of 40 (turn of the century) that I’d be extremely fortunate if the industry lasted long enough to retire out of it.
By my early 50s I, like tens of thousands of other people, was made redundant in a yet another merger & radical downsizing.
Luckily, I had a few accidental aces up my sleeve. Earlier than most, I’d invested much unrewarded effort in seeking out early stage drugs owned by much smaller companies which might provide the basis for commercial synergies. One in particular made many billions in revenue for both parties and was the most valuable thing I ever did.
These efforts brought me into contact with an ecosystem I was not even really aware of. Small start ups funded by private venture capital. I reviewed over 100 such entities. We did two deals.
After the announcement of the closure of the site at which I worked, I received two calls, independently from people whose biotechs I had previously reviewed and this launched me into consulting.
At dinner for one client, I met an investor who was curious about what was happening to all the portfolio I had worked on. Learning that most of all of it was to be abandoned in cost saving and downsizing, he asserted that i could raise a little capital & perhaps spin out some compounds. A year later, I did just that. For six years I led that biotech until acquisition by a big company & I entered into partial retirement in 2017 (also coinciding with a serious illness).
Then 2020 hit.
I could not take a commission to consult in this industry now. I’ve learned too many things of which I was previously completely unaware, beavering away in research labs. I also wouldn’t recommend anyone follow in my footsteps. That geography no longer exists.

Dear Ben, you’re absolutely correct. Like you, I observed what I called The Dirty Snowball gobble up larger and larger pharmaceutical companies through the first two thirds of my career (late 1980s to mid noughties) to the point that few, very large corporations dominated the world.
We joked that it was one of the many industries in which you could work for four different companies without leaving your office.
Size was always the ostensible motive, because R&D was becoming more and more expensive as well as *less successful. Almost everything failed to reach market or to be profitable because of poor efficacy or unacceptable side effects.
I expected the industry to all but vanish during my working life. They should have vanished. They’ve stopped producing anything useful.
What must have happened in parallel with consolidation was regulatory capture. I’ve no doubt that there has always been sporadic corruption. I remember an FDA Advisory Committee (AdCom) for a drug that was in our view hopeless which then was approved by a unanimous vote. This was around 1990. It was a market failure.
But while we slept, big pharma board rooms and the seniormost leaders of FDA merged, probably catalysed by back room conversations at Davos.
While many of us can see this expression of centralisation so clearly and can even paint the steps leading to it in this specific & highly relevant example, Ben has become aware of this kind of phenomenon much more broadly.
We’ve been gulled into accepting the inevitability of globalisation. We’re told that it’s “progress” & you can’t prevent it. It’s at minimum an organic process though obviously it can also be steered.
The dirty secret is that those who were in corporate early on, and were talented enough not to have been fired eariy in this journey of consolidation, did well financially out of globalization. Such people were paid generously to assist in merging all these functions (“building the prison camps”).
They were then advised to sock away large, tax-relieved sums into their private pensions and then to invest those savings into the shares of those companies who were busy ensuring that their profits grew, corruptly if need be, yielding astonishing returns.
Guilty as charged. I never once thought of the wider implications of what I could see happening in my own sector when applied to the wider economy.
It’s everywhere. Virtually nothing has escaped the clutches of globalization and more specifically centralisation.
The result is that a handful of people can affect substantial parts of the lives of most people on earth. This is without precedent in human history.
Swimming against the tide might seem impossible, but it really isn’t. If you want no more than to turn your back on corporate life in all its many forms and to connect with people locally for as many of your needs as possible, you absolutely can.
Only in this way do we stand a chance of creating a network of people which is resistant to the baleful and totalitarian practices of globalization.
*there is an important silver lining to this cloud. Pharma hasn’t got worse at inventing the rare, genuinely useful drug. What’s happened is that the very patent system which grants the innovator a limited duration of commercial exclusivity has created a deep thicket of off patent, low cost drugs. They don’t go away when the patent expires. The existence of the blockbuster drugs of the past inevitably formed a portfolio of affordable medicines. Most aren’t particularly safe and effective, but some are.
I vote that we create the draft shortlist of generic drugs we should have access to.

The Great Reset was announced by the then Prince Charles at Davos (2021 IIRC). WEF leader Klaus Schwab's book 'Covid 19 and the Great Reset' managed to achieve publication in June 2020, despite the 'pandemic' only being declared months earlier. I worked in publishing for 20 years - researching, writing and publishing a book in 3 months is not a thing. 'Here's one I wrote before anyone had heard of covid' is a thing.
Forget the Rothschilds, check out the Rockefellers (practically minions of the Rothschilds). See Jacob Nordangard's book 'Rockefeller - controlling the game'. Fully researched and he chose to write about the Rockefellers rather than the Rothschilds because the evidence was in the public domain, incontrovertible and, in many cases, confirmed by the Rockefellers themselves in memoirs.
I also recommend Dr David A Hughes 2024 book ''Covid 19', Psychological Operations and the War for Technocracy'. Dr Hughes negotiated a free-access arrangement with the respected academic publisher, Palgrave MacMillan. A free download is available at Dr Hughes' Substack or from Springer-Link. The book is the result of three years of meticulous academic research and has been downloaded by around 200,000 people, despite having none of the publicity that he would get if he wrote a book the powers that be want people to read.

If you read it - even some of it - you'll be in a better position to talk about 'cults' or 'conspiracy theories'. You probably know the historical origin of the term 'conspiracy theory', so I won't repeat it, but it's basically (like other thought-terminating cliches, including 'far right' and 'anti-vaxxer') a Keep Out sign that says 'don't look here or you'll be ridiculed/fired/smeared etc. etc. We've told you what to think so go and think it'.
Here's my example of a cult. Vaccination is the only medical procedure that cannot be questioned. Doctors who openly question it will be struck off. Even professionals who are not doctors may have their membership of professional organisations cancelled for questioning vaccination on social media. If something can't be questioned, it is BY DEFINITION not science, but a cult, a psyop or both.

Hello Mike, we have communicated recently, and I am asking for nothing more than an opinion if you will. I am (as you might know) an Australian, and there is a sizeable group here that are "loudly" proclaiming that "the white hats are in full control". I personally think this is a foolish, possibly dangerous statement and I ask for an opinion from you as to :- "do you think the white hats (the good guys) are in control, or do you feel the same as I do that we are still deep in "schtuck" and until Donald Trump takes control it will remain the same". They are claiming that due to Biden extending the State of Emergency it PROVES (their word) that The White Hats are in Full Control. I would appreciate just a word from you.

Hi Les,
Full warning. I’m extremely “black pilled”, I think they call it.
I cannot believe the extent of the deception could possibly be carried out without a serious hitch, anywhere in the world, unless the perpetrators had total control of every institution.
The world in pieces has always operated on secret societies, plans hidden from the mass of the people.
If there’s a community of just a thousand people, the people or persons in charge are always the most ruthless, rather than the best person, because the former will do things you & I won’t do.
Mean people like this remained in charge forever, occasionally being killed by a rival who is equally ruthless.
Eventually, the evil, criminal, corrupt and ruthless people in a region agreed, mostly, to stop bumping each other off, because it was bad for business. They decided to form alliances to rinse the gullible public ever more.
As time moved on, they made tentative arrangements with crooks running neighbouring regions & countries. They announced royal rulers so that it looked legitimate to have a stable ruling line, but in reality it was always the kingmakers who ran the show.
U.K. initiated the era of the biggest colonial project in world history and this birthed a brand new phenomenon, the multinational corporation. This triggered the need to form criminal alliances across continents.
By the way, arising out of the first expansion of England under Elizabeth I was an intelligence system. I don’t recall their names but two nobles pledged to defend her against all comers in exchange for exorbitant privileges. Both parties kept their word and over time, the most effective intelligence and control networks were built. Apparently the systems running the world today continue to be based upon that Elizabethan foundation.
I’m not on the details of that, but numerous secret societies were either created or co-opted to keep secrets very effectively. Notice there are never any serious leaks at all. Not from this hidden layer of control, which i unfortunately believe is cemented by ghastly goings on to do with children, then as now.
Around 1880, it is said, the secret societies of the world made a pact to run the world between them.
U.K. had an outsized influence on its beliefs, policies and direction.
Their religion isn’t Christian, Jewish, Muslim, but a much darker hue. Who knows, do they obtain dark power from this source? The so called Mysteries go back as far as recorded history (definition: “Lies, agreed upon”) and probably beyond.
So while the odd white hat might accidentally enter the initiation into a secret society, it’s literally impossible to remain in it and ascend without doing the evil things required, witnessed and recorded. I said they were ruthless and super smart where it comes to human greed and weaknesses.
So, no white hats as far as I can see!
I may well be totally wrong. I do hope so!

Dr. Mike Yeadon : “Most to all of the horrible stories are not real” :
………………………………..
Dr. Mike Yeadon, February 4, 2025 :
https://t.me/DrMikeYeadonsolochannel/2476
I’m being bombarded by people sending me media reports of horrible events all over the country and world.
Important to remember that the conduit of this information is the same one who deceived everyone for years about a fake pandemic.
Why ever would a person believe anything they tell us?
It’s important in my opinion to recognize that the media lies very extensively.
I wasn’t there, so I don’t know, in this case (stabbinge & dead school children; helicopters and passenger planes colliding etc) whether what’s been reported is accurate or even true at all.
I no longer automatically believe anything that mainstream media is used to tell us, especially if it’s expected to promote fear, anger or any strong emotion.
In relation to the broader theme of violence, including rape gangs (which are real), random stabbings etc, I think this is being done in order to initiate the usual Problem - Réaction - Solution.
The “Solution” is going to be digital ID, in my opinion.
Most to all of the horrible stories are not real.
Please review the “probability of a PsyOp scoring tool”.
All of the recent stories slot into the category of “Strong likelihood of a PsyOp, manipulation likely” or “Overwhelming signs of a PsyOp”.
Best wishes
Mike

Dr. Mike Yeadon, February 19, 2025 :

Of course, Hedley is correct. Brook Jackson’s legal case OUGHT to have brought the alleged development of the alleged Pfizer “vaccine” to a shuddering halt, IF in fact it was a “vaccine”, a product regulated by FDA and provided FDA wasn’t corrupt. Nothing happened. Brook’s case was dismissed.
I explain again why that was the outcome in my comment.
To his credit, Hedley is inching his way to a wider understanding that there is more to this deception than the already horrific fraud that he has ably uncovered on the part of pharma. There are few others, if any, with more experience of this industry in what passes for its better days than Hedley Rees.
Best wishes

Indeed, Brook Jackson’s evidence should have stopped the “development” of the “vaccine”, if in fact it was an investigational medical product under the regulation of FDA.
Nothing happened.
Either the FDA and others are corrupt, or FDA wasn’t regulating the material in question.
Both are true. FDA is party to the pantomime that they’re regulating these materials.
However, the legal position is clear, as Katherine Watt and Sasha Latypova have patiently demonstrated, repeatedly.
They are “countermeasures”, for use under the discretion of the HHS Secretary, given the prior declaration of a Public Health Emergency, and immunity from prosecution for liability from harms is provided by the PREP Act. These agents are legally & explicitly defined as “non-investigational”, and “their administration to humans explicitly does not constitute a clinical trial”.
Thus, in the clear wording of the regulations under which this operation proceeded and still proceeds, they are not regulated by FDA.
This is why Brook Jackson’s attempt to bring Pfizer to book failed in court. The defence Pfizer advanced, so I read, was that the government was wholly aware of everything that was happening, so no fraud could have taken place. I doubt these words were used, but a summary of the situation was given: “Pfizer delivered the fraud that the government ordered!”
The judge considered the wording and implications of all the laws and regulations & concluded that this was legally correct and that Pfizer had done nothing wrong in the terms of the action brought against them.
There is a difference between legal and lawful. It might all match up with and be consistent with what the law says, but it’s unquestionably unlawful.
You cannot deliberately injure & kill people, lawfully. And that’s what’s happened & is still happening.
Ps: I’m doing my best to represent the position as best I can. To the best of my knowledge, I have faithfully summarized the position. Please check yourself by reference to the Substack writings of Katherine Watt and separately of Sasha Latypova.

Afterword
by Suavek
I can only hope that this article will not lead anyone to believe that the political-medical fraud was committed solely out of greed.
Dr. Yeadon has pointed out several times that those responsible already have the right to create money ( whereas this privilege in the hands of such bandit banksters is clearly to be described as illegitimate ), and he also rightly said that the motive of greed would not make such extremely toxic pseudo-vaccinations necessary, because a saline solution would have been completely sufficient in such a case. I have already quoted this statement by Dr. Yeadon twice in other articles and indicated the source of the quote. Greed as the motive for the fraud only affects the willing helpers of the perpetrators responsible. The pharmaceutical industry played its role of helper in this mass murder excellently. Pfizer was assigned the most important role in this. I suspect that the script of the fraud arranged this because this company had already played the most criminal role in pharmaceutical history compared to all others. Thus, the focus could be effectively diverted from the original perpetrators.
In 2021, the perpetrator propaganda has reversed the perpetrator roles and labelled both the unvaccinated and the honest experts who have spoken out as criminals:
Pfizer CEO Tells Atlantic Council: People Who Spread Misinformation on COVID-19 Vaccines Are “Criminals Because They Have Literally Cost Millions of Lives”
Speaking with the powerful D.C.-based think tank Atlantic Council on Tuesday (Nov. 9, 2021), Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said there is a “very small” group of people that purposefully circulate misinformation on COVID-19 vaccines, misleading those who are already hesitant about getting injected.
“Those people are criminals,” he told Atlantic Council CEO Frederick Kempe. “They’re not bad people. They’re criminals because they have literally cost millions of lives.”
Bourla said that life for many people can go “back to normal” once many of the unvaccinated get vaccinated.
“The only thing that stands between the new way of life and the current way of life is, frankly, hesitancy to vaccinations,” he claimed.

Equal rights for all
Such a distortion of the facts and the statement of the criminal Albert Bourla clearly contain criminal elements. If the judiciary were independent, as the lying perpetrators' propaganda claims, then such statements would certainly have been prosecuted. If someone falsely calls you a criminal and the justice system doesn't mind because it sees it as a permissible opinion, then you are allowed to do the same and express your opinion about Bourla. Equal rights for all.

Corporate competition is getting like Rom's crisis of the 3rd century. Lots of opportunity in a rough kind of meritocracy meant anyone could get to the top provided they got near to the top. You might get to pass the imperial crown to a buddy/family member, but he might be the one to bump you off the way you bumped off the guy before you. If you were the best man ever for the job - Aurelian! - you still got murdered after a bit.
The people behind the present sinister system may collude, but they can never trust one another. Control of all through media and data is their goal...but can the synarchs share with one another? Doubtful.
The only way to weaken the synarchy is to do what we are doing now on this substack. Where we can and while we can we have to lose friends and appear potty. No choice. Of course we are being monitored and undermined, and we may lose this resource for communication in a short time. Then it's down to simple conversations with anyone who will barely listen.
I don't know if Trump even bothered to go to that hick town for his "assassination". I do know that most people believed it because MEDIA. I know most won't believe me because I'm just a human who stops to think and assess. But if ordinary thinking humans make enough doubt while the synarchs are undermining one another...who knows?
If they were that perfect they wouldn't be demons, right?
No, not "solely out of greed" but always to assert POWER; narcissists and psychopaths devoid of moral conscience are governed by an inordinate sense of the need for control, money being only a MEANS to achieve that end; listen carefully to Bourla as just another example of the inherent EVIL that such minds possess and how they must always be in control of the narrative which always means they know what's best for all of us, including killing us; "cults"!? of course, because they seek out their own for mutual reinforcement and validation as history has shown us time and time again; and they are DEATH cults which want all of us to be their sacrificial lambs (see" People of the Lie" by Scott Peck); another common trait they share is a total lack of any genuine SPIRITUALITY or belief in any Creator because they seek to be the "new gods" of the new world order they have long been planning; " I now give you the choice between life and death, between God's blessing and God's curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life."
